We have a BabyLock Sewing Machine, Serger and Cover Stitch machines, as well as cutting tables, irons, ironing boards, hams and french curve design tools, all for you to use.  This is a great way to brush up on your skills, have more sewing space, or just to enjoy the comraderie of other sewing enthusiasts!  Bring your project(s).  Block of 5 sessions, $60.00 (no expiration), or one session, $15.  Leader, Judi Bradley.

Preview your Garments

Saturday, July 17, 10 - 3

During this class you will learn to use your digital camera to make a preview picture of your garments before you sew them.  You will scale the prints of your choice to see how they will look in your garment and how they will look on you.  Instructor:  Michelle LaFortune Wamego.  Minimum of 4 students, maximum of 8.  $59

Trio T with Linda Lee

July 23 (Fitting Session) and July 24 (9am - 5pm)

Would you like to feel more at ease sewing with knits?  Using the T-Top in Linda's "Trio" pattern, participants will come for an individual fitting with Linda, then go home and cut out their fabric.  On Saturday, Linda will demonstrate her techniques for sewing with knits, as you make your top.  Fitting appointments are 20 minutes in length and begin at 4:00 pm on Friday.  Saturday's session is from 9 - 5.  Maximum 10 sewers.  $79

Build Your Wardrobe with a Plan

Saturday, July 31, 10 - 1

In this class you will make decisions about what clothes you need and want to sew.  Michelle will guide you in building a wardrobe that is useful for many occasions.  Instructor:  Michelle LaFortune Wamego.  Minimum 4 students, maximum 8.  $39

Serger T-Shirt

August 3 - Tuesday, 10 - 2

Another great serger class being taught by The Serger Queen, Debbi Hendrix.  Using Loes Hinse V-Neck Tunic pattern, Debbie will show you how to create this wonderful, flattering T-shirt, using primarily your serger.  Minimum of 3 students, maximum of 8.  $49 plus materials.

Beginner Sewing

August 6 - 27 

Fridays, 10:30 - 1:30

For adults that are new to sewing, or those who haven't sewn in awhile and wish to refresh their skills.  During this series you will make a top and a skirt, as you learn the basics of preparing your fabric, cutting, sewing, and many helpful techniques.  Minimum of 4 students, maximum of 8.  $99 plus materials.  Teacher:  Debbi Hendrix

Kids Camp

July 13 - 16, 2 - 4 pm each day

Great for beginners!  Projects will include a pillow case, backpack, and pull-on pants/pj's.  Teacher:  Jory Snyder.  Minimum of 3 students, maximum of 8.  Ages 8 - 16.  $39 session, or $10/day.  Fabrics, patterns and notions for this class are discounted 10%.

FIT WORKSHOP

Sept. 17 - 19 (Friday - Sunday)

If you love to sew and are tired of not being able to make well fitting garments, this workshop is for you!  Nancy and Debbie, Certified Palmer/Pletsch Fit Instructors, will provide you with a basic fit pattern, and show you how to alter it to fit your body.  Once the bodice, skirt and sleeve is fitted to you, you will have your own body map of what alterations are necessary in the most fitted garment you would ever sew.  You will be amazed at just how well your garments can fit!  The class will meet from 9 - 5 on Friday and Saturday, and 1 - 4 on Sunday.  Class is limited to 8 students.  $149 plus materials.

PANT FIT WORKSHOP

October 22 - 24 (Friday - Sunday)

Tired of pants that just don't fit?  In this hands-on fitting class Nancy and Debbie, Certified Palmer/Pletsch Fit Instructors, will determine just the right pattern alterations for you to get that great looking (and feeling) pair of pants.  The class will meet from 9 - 5 on Friday and Saturday, and 1 - 4 on Sunday.  Class is limited to 8 students.  $149 plus materials.
